Homemade Non-Slip Socks

Over at Hardly Housewives, Caitlyn is getting ready to welcome a new baby!  She’s been prepping for the big day by packing a hospital bag.  Friends suggested that she might want to add her own non-slip socks, since the hospital versions aren’t exactly awesome.

Caitlyn figured she could DIY her own non-slip socks, using a pair that she already had.  She covered the bottom of the socks in hearts, using puffy t-shirt paint to make them.  Perfect for Valentine’s Day and new-baby-love!  The socks don’t slide, and Caitlyn says they can be machine washed and hung to dry.  What a fun way to personalize (and cute-ify) a completely useful item.

So cute! I will make some for a prego girlfriend but I also love the idea for my dog! We have hardwood floors, she’s getting older and has arthritis. These will be perfect to help my Lucy stay steady! Thanks!
