Need a little more organization in your life now that school has begun? Jennifer from Pink When has an easy an expensive way to turn cardboard tubes into a cute little desk caddy.
Jenn from Clean & Scentsible came up with a way to keep her garage a little more organized without spending much time or money. Her material of choice? She repurposed a pallet.
“A friend of mine dropped by one day with a pile of these cigar boxes that she picked up for me,” Susan tells us at Organized 31. The friend was confident that Susan could do something with them, and she loved the way they opened. Susan’s friend also confessed that the tray inside meant to hold cigars was perfect for storing beads.
“I found this abandoned little wood crate in the middle of a K-mart parking lot,” says Stacey at Addison Meadows Lane. She had been wanting a silverware caddy forever, so Stacey knew exactly what she could do with the crate and snatched it up immediately.
Over at Doodle Craft, Natalie had some old soda pop bottles hanging around the house. Instead of throwing them away, she found a way to recycle them into a back-to-school statement.
Linda from With a Blast shares the backstory on this old storage drawers unit. “I have had this particular unit for years…it used to be hidden under my desk.” But now that Linda has moved her furniture around, the drawers will be in a more visible area, and she decided they were a little too blah.
