Light Bulb Yarn Pears

If you’re like me, you hate throwing away light bulbs but are sometimes at a loss as to how to repurpose them. Di from Giraffe Legs shares the perfect project for fall – light bulb pears!

Di glued sticks to the top of her bulbs and then wrapped them with yarn. I don’t think you could ask for a better shape and size than a light bulb for DIY pears. Wrapped in yarn or twine they are super easy to make and very cute for fall!

  1. Well what an amazing surprise this morning! Thank you so much for featuring my lightbulb pears! They really are so cute! You, my friend, have just made my day and it’s only 7:57!!

  2. Lovely; but DON’T, for your health and safety, handle light bulbs this way. The end and the edge around the rim have lead solder that chips off. Lead causes cancer, brain damage, etc. Throw them away.
