Sticks and Stones: Outdoor Mason Jar Chandelier

I would love to have Dinah’s mind. When she sees a large stick in her back yard, she doesn’t think, “Huh. A stick to clean up.” Instead, she sees a stick and immediately decides to make an outdoor mason jar chandelier with it! She’s showing us how she did it at DIY Inspired.

The stick in question came home with her daughter after a walk to the playground. It was “nice and sturdy and thick,” and just under three feet long. Dinah used lengths of twine to wrap under the lips of the jars and to tie the jars to the stick. She also used doubled-up twine to hang the stick from the patio over her outdoor dining table. Small pebbles fill each jar, and Dinah placed a tea light in each one. I love how this looks in the day and in the night!
