During a playroom makeover, Liz came across a set of Pottery Barn animal bookends and “instantly fell in love.” She knew they would look fabulous in her new playroom, so she’s showing us how she used scrap wood and the dollar bin to make her own elephant version at Love Grows Wild.
Liz cut her 1’x4′ wood pieces down into 5″ squares, then primed, painted, and sealed them. The dollar bin at her local craft store supplied two adorable plastic elephants, which she painted and sealed as well. Once everything was dry, she glued the wood pieces into an “L” shape and then glued the elephants into place. I think these little guys definitely make a big impact!
