Here’s a fun project using something that is easy to find during the summer months: popsicle sticks! Daniela at Curly Made has been experimenting with turning wooden popsicle sticks into jewelry.
To make a pair of earrings, Daniela used an exacto knife to cut her popsicle sticks into interesting arrow-like shapes. She sanded them smooth and painted them pretty colors. She drilled a tiny hole into the wood and attached them to the metal fittings that would turn them into earrings. “These earrings are super lightweight, which is a plus for me, I can wear them all day without hurting,” Daniela points out. They are so pretty-I want to make them in all my favorite colors!
