Modern Clock gets Rustic Makeover

LZ from The Summery Umbrella fully admits that she just can’t “leave well enough alone!” Check out the (literal!) face-lift she gave her modern clock, transforming it into a cool rustic timepiece.

LZ’s husband recently cut down one of the many trees on their new property, so LZ grabbed a slice from the trunk. She cut a hole in the back to house the clock mechanism, then used a die-cut machine to create the Roman numerals. LZ points out that some of her numerals are slightly off center, but says, “Nothing in nature is absolutely symmetrical or perfect so why should this clock be?” Symmetrical or not, we can all agree that this clock is perfect-ly fabulous!
