Shoeboxes aren’t hard to find (who needs an excuse for new shoes?) and they can be used and reused in so many ways. This idea comes from Dagmar of Dagmar’s House.
Dagmar was in need of a charging station for all of her family’s electronic devices. She didn’t want a wonky tangle of cords sitting out where everyone could see them, so she decided to conceal them with a shoebox. Dagmar wrapped the box in striped paper and cut holes in the sides for access. To make things look polished, she covered the cut holes with grommets. A power bar sits inside the box, ready for powering devices. It looks great!
