“My daughter was playing with her shoes box pretending it was a house,” says The Happy Creations, explaining the inspiration behind these adorable doll houses made from milk cartons.
To make these, The Happy Creations saved some milk cartons from her recycling bin and made sure to wash them out very thoroughly (sour milk stinks)! She painted the cartons with a coat of primer, and then layered bright, happy colors over the top of that. She also used decorative paper to add color and pattern. She cut doors and windows into her cartons, as well, then used hot glue to glue them to each other. “My daughter loved it and she’s been playing with it all day, she has a Doll’s house however, now she prefers this-which makes me extra proud!”
