To prettify these plain cardboard boxes, Amy decided to use a faux leather technique. She covered the boxes with pieces of torn tissue paper, layering them to give the surface of the cardboard texture and dimension. Next, Amy rolled on varying shades of brown paint. A final coat of decoupage sealed the boxes and reduced the tackiness of the surface. The result is an impressive change from a cardboard box to a faux leather box. Great job, Amy!
