Kimberly of The Nest Creations has a large stash of thrifted clothing that she keeps to use for future projects. She realized that this men’s dress shirt could be refitted to make a fashionable tunic.

The shirt was plenty big, and long enough to make the perfect tunic length. The first step was getting rid of that sagging fit. She got the fit she wanted by taking in seams and cutting off excess fabric. “With the addition of a belt it works great with the jeans and moccasins I already had on,” Kimberly notes, “and I think would be great with the leggings and boots I had originally planned on pairing it with.” Way to go, Kimberly! You definitely found a way to get many more wearings from this shirt.
