Gotcha with that title, didn’t I? I’m literally talking about cooking, thanks to this adorable apron that is made from a man’s dress shirt. This upcycle comes from Liz over at Love Grows Wild.
When Liz realized that one of her husband’s old dress shirts could be transformed into an apron, she went to work right away! Leaving the collar in place, she cut out the sleeves and back of the shirt. She used the fabric scraps to add a femine ruffle and a handy pocket. The new apron is feminine and fun, and Liz claims it was a cinch to make. Plus, it looks great hanging from a hook in her newly remodeled kitchen.
