Having seen lots of cute (but expensive) serving trays floating around the web, Hannah from Lovely Little Life was excited to find a few forgotten wooden trays at Goodwill, and bought them for a fraction of the price she would have paid elsewhere! She took on the challenge of making this one as cute as the trays she’d seen online.
Hannah used three coordinating patterns of Washi tape to give her tray a makeover. She chose to apply the tape to the tray surface in diagonal rows, repeating the three designs in a pattern. Then she brushed Mod Podge over the Washi tape to seal it, and voila! Adorable brand new tray! Is that easy or what? I’m going to be keeping my eye out for thrift store trays from now on!
