Dress from a T-shirt and Scarf

I love this project from Amy Jo of The Little Moments….so much that I might have to copy it for my little girl! Amy Jo turned a thrifted t-shirt and what she terms “an old lady scarf” into a pretty dress for her adorable daughter.

Amy Jo makes it look easy: she simply sewed the scarf onto the bottom of the tee to create a flouncy, floral skirt. Too cute! The light and airy scarf looks like it gathered beautifully. The dress is such a fresh, fun way to upcycle two items that could easily have been tossed or lost.
