If you love the idea of a party piñata but not of someone getting accidently banged with the stick, Heidi from One Creative Mommy offers a great solution that makes use of an empty paint can.
Instead of banging the piñata with a stick, the kids pull the strings on the bottom of the paint can to trigger the candy trap door. I especially love this idea for wee ones who probably wouldn’t be able to break open a traditional piñata but would enjoy the excitement of scurrying to collect treats from the ground.
