Yesterday I featured a tutorial for repurposing a shirt into a purse. I’ve got another great upcycle for you from Mary at Bugglebee. This alternative purse style makes use of an old western shirt.
Again, Mary offers a step-by-step tutorial that walks you through the whole shirt-to-purse process. I love how Mary’s design utilizes the front pockets of the shirt for extra storage and the cuffs for a coordinating wallet. Remember to hang onto those old shirts during your after-the-holiday closet purge!

However, he doesn’t like his shirts to be fitted around the middle at all, can I just widen the part of the pattern that goes around his middle? He’s not overweight, he just doesn’t like anything tight or feels like it could be ‘not loose’. I don’t know if that makes sense lol but I will go buy this pattern and make him some shirts!!
