Time to check in with Meredith & Gwyneth, the New Yorkie. They’ve been working on a fun project for their New York apartment that started out with discovering Meredith’s old footlocker trunk in the atti, last week.

Aimee blogs at The Vintage Estate. She says, “I agreed to take this table sight unseen through Freecycle…I had no idea how hideous it was going to be!” The table needed a makeover in a big way, so Aimee decided she had nothing to lose, so she’d try something dramatic.

Meg’s friend invited her over to go through a shed on her property that was full of old things. Meg blogs at Meg and Mum’s, and you wouldn’t believe the makeover she gave the old secretary desk she found in that shed.

Catherine from Catnap bought a few things at an auction, then went back at the end to pick through the “free” pile of leftovers. This worn down dresser was one of the freebies. Even with it’s missing drawer, Catherine knew shew could refurbish it into something terrific.
Ashley at Domestic Imperfection got this coffee table for free from a friend and decided it would be just the thing to class up her brother-in-law’s space.
