Christy–who blogs at Confessions of a Serial DIYer–has been longing to paint a piece of furniture aqua blue, her favorite color. When she came across this little beauty of a side table at the local Salvation Army, she could barely contain her excitement.

Reeves of The Weathered Door picked up this little table when it was advertised in the “free” section of Craigslist. The previous owner had been using it as a TV stand and no longer wanted it.

Shanna from Restoration Redoux got this vintage table at a yard sale for $4. It was wobbly and dirty, and the leather inlay on top had rotted. Yes, it was in sad shape, but $4 for a wood table is too good a deal to walk away from!
