Trash to Treasure projects
Over at Crafting in the Rain, Steph picked up a couple of old shutters at a garage sale. Her original idea for using these shutters didn’t work out, so they’ve been sitting around in the garage waiting for inspiration to strike. Inspiration struck when Steph was try to think of ways to organize her washi tape collection.
At C.R.A.F.T., Jamie and her husband have to think out of the box to create storage space that can go with them when they move out of their little rental. Kitchen storage was especially hard to come by–made even more challenging since the walls of their apartment are cement, so drilling holes in the wall is out of the question. The solution to Jamie’s kitchen storage problem came in the form of an old door purchased from Habitat for Humanity Re-Store for $5.
Lisa from Serendipity Chic Designs got a major steal when she scored four vintage shutters for only $2.50 a piece at a tag sale. Don’t you love a good bargain?
