"After many years of use in three different households, this sectional sat in our basement, unused," says Ahna of Easier Than I Thought. She had considered getting rid of it, but had a feeling she should keep it.
Tricia of Simplicity in the South needed a cute way to store and display Hot Wheels cars in her sons' bedroom. She had some glass canister jars that were just the right size for cars and little hands to go in and out, and decided to dress those up a bit.
Over at May Richer Fuller Be, Chaney was visiting her parent's at their river house when she spotted this unsightly kitchen cart in their garage. Marty has been documenting her kitchen remodel at Marty's Musings. While she'd successfully fixed up her kitchen table, the old cane chairs that went with it were still a problem. The caning had worn out long ago, and the only solution available was ill-fitting slipcovers.
At Designs by Studio C, Cher-Ann spotted this old console television set in the gutter. "It was in fabulous condition!" she exclaims. "Into the vehicle it went with the best part being that I already had an idea in mind for what to do with it!"
When DesignItGirl Nicole spotted this sideboard on the roadside, she was on her way to work. "I didn't have time to stop and lug that huge piece of vintage into my truck," she laments. "I prayed she would be waiting for me and the (bad) garbage man didn't take her. Sure enough there she was waiting for me on my way home from work."
