Trash to Treasure projects
At her blog C.R.A.F.T., Jamie explains that when her husband moved ahead of her to start a new job, he acquired a few pieces of free furniture to temporarily furnish their place while he waited for her to arrive with their actual household goods. This beat up chair was one of the freebies.
Mary Anne from Purposedly Reinvented chose this beauty for her very first reupholstering project. She found it for FREE off Craigslist and instantly saw the potential in its tiny little ad photo. Her husband, on the other hand, was of course shaking his head and questioning how anything beautiful could ever come of the eyesore.
Anne of Because Home Should Be Great found this wobbly, old chair in the parking lot of her favorite thrift store. Apparently, it was in such bad shape that the thrift store didn’t even want it! She took it home and worked a little magic on it.
