A glass door from a china cabinet, kitchen cabinet doors, legs from a crib… that’s how this cabinet from Melissa of Shabby Love started out! Before paint you can easily identify all the random parts that Melissa and her husband used to construct their “Frankenstein cabinet.”

I am a big fan of outside-the-box thinking, which is why I always love Gail’s projects at My Repurposed Life. Gail looks at one thing and sees something else, and I simply love that! For this project, Gail started with this SOLID front door.

One of the favorite rescues in my own home has been my headboard from an old door. Dani of Seaside Shelter also created a headboard from this wood door with peeling paint that she found.

Karah from The Space Between found an old door set in a construction dumpster on the side of the road one day. She just happened to be in the market for a new coffee table, and well… who says a door can’t be a coffee table?
