Nicole of DesignItGirl came across this nightstand at the Salvation Army store. It was worn and dated, but had some great details, so she was sure she could give it a new life.

Reeves explains how she got a free nightstand at The Weathered Door: “ I got this nightstand when I bought a dresser… the owner threw it in and I was not going to pass that up.” Since it was free, she felt brave enough to try something a little different from her other furniture makeovers.

At The Weathered Door, Reeves explains that when friends of the family passed along this nightstand to her, it was blonde wood with a very funky crackle finish.
