Donna from Funky Junk Interiors needed a workspace that fit her. It was time to get rid of the plastic tables and create a desk that really embodied her “rustically funky” style. This was Donna’s first built-from-scratch project that originated as cedar planks from her neighbor’s yard and scrap wood from a pallet storage area.
Donna used the reclaimed and pallet wood for the frame and legs and cedar planks for the desktop. Donna loves all the imperfections and uniqueness of each piece of wood. Where she once wanted to run and hide from her office, she now can’t wait to sit down and just soak up the surroundings. And it only cost her $3 for new screws!
