Ashley from Dirt Stains and Paint scored a whole pile of cabinet doors that were advertised for FREE on Craigslist. She loved the lines and narrow size of this door, and new she could turn it into something fun.

Brittany, known on her blog as the Pretty Handy Girl, had a pile of pallets and wood scraps lying around in her workshop. She also had a blank wall in the bonus room/art studio that she’s renovating at her house. Brittany figured out how to use up all that extra wood to turn a blank wall into a gorgeous focal point.

Over at Inspiration Cafe, Sherry tells us that she got this plain corkboard for free when she was shopping at a garage sale. She brought it home and turned it into the perfect calendar and organization station for her family.

Old drawers and shutters have been popping up all over the internet for repurpose projects. Tania from TC’s Designs combined these two popular upcycling items to create an adorable wall cabinet for her bathroom.

Karen from Redoux pulled this mirror from an apartment dumpster. Obviously the broken mirror was to blame for landing this piece in the trash but the poor frame sure didn’t need to take the fall with it!

As part of my Operation Restoration: Home Edition at Infarrantly Creative, I turned fence boards into a large piece of wall décor for a friend’s home. I happened to score the fencing for free off Craigslist earlier this year.

Alicia from Thrifty and Chic had a bunch of PVC pipe hanging around while a sprinkler system was being installed in her backyard. You wouldn’t think a product that’s designed to be buried underground would carry too much aesthetic appeal…
