Jami from Freckled Laundry loves to make a beeline for the white clothing racks at thrift stores. She says, “I always find the prettiest fabrics (cotton, linen, voile) with awesome details (ruffles, lace, ruching) that can be repurposed for so many textile projects.”

A friend gave Natalie at NorthShore Days these two dental assistant stools from the 50’s that had been sitting on her deck in the elements for years. They were destined for the skip when they were passed on to Natalie to “do something amazing with.”

Four long years ago Vone of Vone Inspired carefully loaded four weathered adirondack chairs into a Radio Flyer wagon and pulled them home. These chairs retail for a pretty penny, so I would have carried them home one-by-one if need be!

Jenna of SAS Interiors had been wanting to try her hand at reupholstering for awhile but was held back by her own uncertainty of whether or not she could actually take on the task. After gaining the confidence she needed, Jenna dove in and found her guinea pig at a thrift store.

Kammy from Kammy’s Corner was enlisted to make this wood highchair “new” again for a friend who had recently had a baby. The chair had been found by the girl’s father, and she simply wasn’t loving the shabby vintage look.
