Abby of Morning by Morning Productions snagged a leather skirt for $1 at her local thrift store. Thrilled to have found 100% leather with a lining, she turned the skirt and an old belt into a brand new purse!

Stephanie of Henry Happened had several striped t-shirts that she wasn’t wearing anymore. She gave them a second life by turning them into jewelry.

At Doodle Craft, Natalie came up with a great way to turn Legos into jewelry. If you have kids, you probably have Legos, and if you’ve stepped on one too many, this could potentially be a great way to repurpose the ones you find on the floor!

Ruth, who blogs at A House in Holland, needed a cropped denim jacket for her teen daughter. Her daughter noticed a denim dress in the Goodwill box and asked, “Can’t we make a jacket out of that?”

At the OhOh Blog, Ama says that she saw a girl on the street wearing a braided scarf and decided she wanted one, too! She went home and found a few old t-shirts and turned them into a scarf of her own.

Jessica from A Smith of All Trades has a mother-in-law who keeps an eye out for craft supplies. When she gave Jessica a bundle of chandelier crystals she’d found, Jessica wasn’t exactly sure what to do with them. The crystals were old and dirty, so Jessica gave them a good scrubbing and then went to work crafting.

Since it’s fall and I’ve got old sweaters on the brain, I have to share these lovely pumpkins Sarah at Alderberry Hill made out of sleeves cut from outgrown sweaters.
