Over at Dillon’s Digital Designs, Cherryl spotted this old changing table at a friend’s garage sale. When the Jenny Lind style table was still there after the sale was over, the friend let Cherryl take it away….for free!
Cherryl knew exactly how she wanted to repurpose the table: she has a tiki bar out by her pool, and knew the changing table would come in handy nearby as a mini bar. Cherryl covered the shelves with dry-erase contact paper. She painted the rest of the table with bright, summery hues. The dry-erase shelves are perfect for labeling types of drinks. “The next time you are at a garage sale, don’t look at what an item is, but what it could be,” Cherryl advises.
