Over at Architecture of a Mom, Rachel’s young daughter is going through something many of you are probably familiar with: an obsession with Disney’s Frozen. She’s also an beginning reader, with lots of small books that are falling off the bookshelf in her bedroom. Rachel decided to repurpose the boxes that some wallpaper samples arrived in to create some storage boxes that would make her little girl happy.
For this project, Rachel started by painting the plastic boxes pink. A quick Google search helped Rachel find a graphic for the royal crest of Arundelle, which she then cut out in vinyl with her craft cutting machine. Rachel applied the crest to the newly painted boxes to give them a look her daughter loved. Now the boxes sit on the bookshelf, ready to contain small books that don’t stand by themselves on the shelves. Great idea!
