When this dresser fell into Rachel’s hands, it had come straight from her grandmother’s attic, painted a brilliant color of orange. Rachel painted with a much more subdued shade of grass green, and it’s been that way for several years now, she explains at Maison de Pax.
Recently, however, Rachel’s developed a serious love of gray. She decided it was time to add a gray dresser to her collection of pretty gray things, so this dresser underwent a transformation. Still liking the two-toned look of stained wood and paint, Rachel left the top of the dresser as it was, and painted the rest of the dresser using Pebble Beach by Country Chic Paint. She also removed the wooden drawer pulls and replaced them with pretty pink glass knobs. Lovely!
