Painted Outdoor Pillows Brighten Up Porch

Lina blogs at Fancy Frugal Life.  “Our outdoor furniture is about five or six years old,” Lina relates.  The furniture came with some plain beige pillows that were starting to look dingy.

After taking a class about chalk paint, Lina was inspired to give the pillows a makeover.  She removed the stuffing and washed the pillow cases first, then painted them with green and white chalk paint.  Lina even stenciled designs on the pillows for a final touch.  Don’t you love how they turned out?

Read Lina’s tutorial at Fancy Frugal Life to learn her tricks for getting the right consistency of chalk paint and preventing bleeding while painting.
