Scrap Wood and Galvanized Pipe Paper Towel Holder

Over at Design, Dining + Diapers, a dinner at a barbecue restaurant prompted Taryn to come up with this paper towel holder for her kitchen.  She fell in love with the industrial style holders on the restaurant tables, and realized that she could make her own, starting with the scrap wood she already had on hand.

Although Taryn already had the wood she needed for this project, she did have to buy some galvanized pipe from a plumbing supply store.  Then, she got to work cutting her scrap wood into a square and staining it.  She attached the pipes to the wood square, which formed a perfect base.  The vintage industrial style is the perfect accessory for her kitchen.
