Over at Rain on a Tin Roof, Jenna tells us, “This was my first ever roadside find. It just took me a long time to get around to fixing it!” Well, when you see how this chair makeover turned out, I think you’ll agree it was worth the wait.
One possibility for why this chair was discarded on the roadside was that it was missing the feet on the back two legs. Jenna remedied that by taking feet from a table that she no longer needed and attaching them to the chair. She removed the old upholstery and painted the wood on the chair using Dragon Fruit by Behr in a gloss finish. New upholstery was applied, with the fabric selection being a classic black and white houndstooth. Doesn’t it look fantastic?
