Baby Crib Makeover

When Rachel of Maison de Pax learned that after two boys, baby #3 would be a girl, she decided to go with all-out frills in baby girl’s nursery.  Opting for a Jenny Lind style of crib, she passed the crib along to her sister, who is welcoming another baby girl into the world.

Before she passed it along, however, Rachel wanted to update the look of this crib a bit for her baby niece.  Inspired by a pretty, gray Pottery Barn crib, she painted it with  Country Chic Paint in Pebble Beach.  “I wanted something soft and gentle, but not too feminine,” she explains, reasoning that this color will work for future baby girls and boys.  Some light distressing and antiquing wax finish off the lovely, rustic look of this crib.

  1. I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the layout of your blog?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a
little more in the way of content so people could
connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two pictures.
Maybe you could space it out better?
