It was the last day of a yard sale when Shanna of Restoration Redoux spotted this little side table. The woman running the sale was ready to shut things down, so she let Shanna take the table home….for free! It was dirty and ugly, but the hexagon shape held some potential.
Shanna ended up going with a moody blue shade for this table. She used Plaster Paint in Flannel to paint most of the exterior, but used the color Sweet Cream to fill in the raised panels on each side. She refreshed all the handles and hinges by spray painting them gold. The finishing touch was the addition of a vintage-style French stencil on the tabletop. Tres chic!
