Scrappy Rainbow Art

If you’ve ever done even one project with fabric, then you know how hard it is to throw scraps away.  Nicole Samuels came up with a brilliant way to use up some of those scraps and create rainbow art that’s perfect to display for St. Patrick’s day (or year round, it’s so pretty)!

Inspired by a beautiful magazine photo, Nicole set out to find scraps in her fabric and paper stashes that matched the color wheel.  She used her craft cutting machine to cut out a basic color wheel shape on heavy weight cardstock, and used that as a guide for cutting out her own scraps in every hue.  Once they were arranged on the color wheel, she embellished with matching buttons.  The final step was framing and displaying this gorgeous art!
