Look What Came Out of the Crib

Gail from My Repurposed Life was working on another project when she happily came up with this one along the way.  She had some old crib spindles, and discovered that when she used the existing lines in the spindles as cutting guides, one of the things she could make were these perfect little wooden circles.

What do you do with wood circles like these?  Well, if you are Gail, you turn them into number tags!  She painted some and stained others.  She used vinyl to make the numbered labels.  Gail says, “There really are a LOT of things I could do with these.  I guess they could be ornaments, chalkboards, or table numbers at a wedding…. lots of possibilities.”  Cool!

Check out the tutorial for this project at My Repurposed Life.

  2. Gia Lyons says:

The can also be made into buttons! Albeit large decorative buttons.

  3. Doris Henson says:

Gail is such a talented person on repurposing items…wish I had her talent.
