Over at The Coconut Head’s Cancer Survival Guide, Holly loves to find new and creative ways to upcycled the mini crates her Cutie clementine oranges are sold in. Her latest project is a Cutie crate herb garden!
To make this project, you are just going to have to go out and buy some Cuties, so that you can have one of these crates. (Oh, the sacrifices we rescuers must make!) Holly peeled the Cutie label off of hers, and replaced it with decoupaged papers she cut from the newspaper. She used pictures from a garden store insert, for a fun touch of whimsy. Then she simply arranged her pots of plants and herbs inside the crate. Easy Peasy! Holly points out that you don’t have to limit yourself to herbs–flowers or succulents look great, too.
