Some rescues require more of a vision to execute than others. That was the case for these old chairs: worn out, shabby, and unloved, they really didn’t have much going for them style-wise before they met Deb from Lake Girl Paints.
Deb had a vision for these chairs. She executed her vision by first deconstructing the chairs, pulling off the old uphostery. She replaced the seat back with wooden slats, painted to look wonderfully weathered. The rest of the chair was painted charcoal gray. Deb upholstered the seat in a fabric with a gorgeous bird print. She even made a detachable pillow for the backrest out of stenciled burlap. The result is completely different than you’d ever guess from the “before” picture, and it’s beautiful.
