Salvaged Chair Legs Become a Gorgeous Bench

When Sara of Thrifty Treasures found a broken chair with two legs missing on the curb, she had no idea she’d discover it’s twin a few months later!  With four legs between the two chairs that were in fairly good condition, Sara decided to repurpose them for another piece of furniture.

I love how creative Sara got with this project.  She remembered an extra table leaf that she had, and realized that with the legs attached, it could form a bench!  She upholstered the bench with foam and canvas dropcloth, using screws and washers to tuft the bench.  Covered buttons and nailhead trim finished it off nicely.  Now Sara has a lovely upholstered bench for her entryway!
