Kristin blogs at Goodwill and Grace. She found this upholstered parsons chair on the side of the road last summer. A recent snow day this year was the perfect opportunity to give the chair a new look.
Even though removing the old upholstery staples was a pain, Kristin was able to get the old fabric off the chair and use the pieces as a template to cut out the new fabric. Figuring out that chair came apart into two pieces also made this project easier. Before the snow day was over, Kristin had reupholstered the chair in a fresh, fun gray and white chevron stripe. It looks great!
