Rachel from Architecture of a Mom found this cookie tin at her office during the holidays. She brought it home and decided to turn it into something fabulous that would provide fun, durable storage for her kids.
She began the transformation by spray painting the outside of the tin silver. Next, she filled in a stencil with decoupage glue instead of paint. By removing the stencil before the paint was dry, Rachel could top the glue with glitter for a neat patterned effect. Isn’t that a great idea for adding color and sparkle to a storage box?
