Are you decorating for Valentine’s Day, yet? Well, Kristen from is, over at Homespun With Love, and she came up with the most adorable snow globe for the day of love. The thing about this project is that you could already have quite a few of the materials leftover from Christmas crafting. So it’s a great way to extend the use of those items!
Kristen started her project with a mason jar. If you don’t already have one of those in your cupboard, ask around–someone is sure to have one. And if they don’t you could upcycle just about any wide-mouth jar for this. Next, she reused a few Christmas decor item: mini bottle brush trees and fake snow. For a Valentine twist, Kristen added little red hearts that she punched out of paper. She put the snow and hearts into the bottom of the jar, then hot glued the trees to the inside of the lid. Once the glue dried, Kristen put the lid on the jar and set it upside down–instant snow globe with Valentine flair!
