I love a dramatic rescue, don’t you? Well, then, you are going to love seeing what happened after Kayla from Confessions of a DIYaholic found this sofa on the side of the road.
The sofa had great lines, but was missing the seat cushion. After ripping off the original upholstery, it was a while before Kayla was able to get around to working on it. She had to fix some structural damage to one of the arms and the front panel to make it sturdy again. She found a large piece of foam at Home Depot for the seat cushion. “I wanted to use a fun, bright fabric,” Kayla says. “I chose Premier Prints Ikat Domino Flamingo.” She painted the legs of the sofa to match the fabric before it went to her shop. I love it!
