Quick Refresh of an Old Bench

She’d had the bench for quite some time, and along with looking a little worn, the dark wood on the legs just didn’t fit with the rest of her coastal cottage decor.  One day, Desiree decided to give the bench one more chance.  She spray painted the legs of the bench white, and sanded them up a bit for a weathered effect.  She refreshed the braided wicker seat with a coat of stain.  The refreshed bench now looks like an intentional part of her family room decor.

  1. Love this simple up date. At first glance I thought you were going to say you used a woven rug, purchased at a store or that you had at home. What you did brought new life in a few quick minutes with your talents. Awesome job!
