Over at Vintage News Junkie, Candace shares a project that is perfect for creating a lovely table arrangement for your holiday dinners. It all started with a big bucket of scrap wood.
The wood came from a home built in 1923 in Hillsborough, North Carolina, and was given to Candace by a friend. Candace loved the idea of that wood being the keeper of many memories from families past. She cut the wood into equal lenghts, and tied the pieces together using twine to create the flexible table runner. The natural wood laid out across the table is such a lovely, rustic contrast tot the rest of her holiday table. It’s really beautiful.
Lucky for us, Candace created a video tutorial for this project. It’s posted at Vintage News Junkie.
