Frame Made from Found Trim

“My hubby picked up this old, wood trim for free at an estate sale,” says Lindsay at My Creative Days.  ”I loved how wide it was and asked if he could make a frame out of it.”

Lindsay’s husband made this small, square frame from the trim.  It was looking really great after she gave it a fresh coat of paint and added a backing of burlap.  Lindsay explains what she did next.  ”Instead of making something permanent with it, I thought I could change it out for the different seasons and holidays. So, for Thanksgiving, I had to use one of these wine bags that I picked up at Target in the $1 bins. The phrases on these bags are so much fun!”  I can’t wait to see how Lindsay uses the frame for other holidays, can you?
