Jenna at Rain on a Tin Roof had some funny little dollar store pumpkins. They were a cute size, but the seam around the middle was sort of….undesirable.
So how did Jenna fix that? For starters, she gave the pumpkins a few glossy coats of Rust-Oleum Heirloom White. She painted the stems with gold acrylic craft paint, to give them a little differentiation and sparkle. The last step was super simple–Jenna used hot glue to wrap a bit of orange grosgrain ribbon around each pumpkin. The ribbon covers the unsightly seam, and gives the pumpkins a trendy stripe. So fun!
