When Sara of Thrifty Treasures found this chair along the roadside, she was excited to discover that it still had an identifying tag that told her a little more about it. It was USA made in 1969, and was still wearing its original upholstery!
After 44 years, though, that original upholstery wasn’t looking so fine. Sara pulled it off, only to discover that the foam padding was completely crumbling away. She had to do a repair on the springs and add new foam batting. Before replacing the upholstery fabric, Sara painted the chair frame in a fresh, spring green. Then she upholstered the chair in gray chevron. I love it!
