Old Birdbath Becomes a Cute Toadstool Table for the Backyard

Not everyone would see something cute for their yard when they encountered this shabby looking birdbath.  Lindsey from My Creative Days, on the other hand, immediately knew exactly what she wanted to do with it–and her idea did not involve birds!

Instead, Lindsey transformed this old birdbath into an adorable toadstool table to use out by her backyard fire pit.  She started by removing the birdbath from the 4×4 post it was glued to.  A bit of cement patch evened out the indentation left in the center from the post.  Next, Lindsey painted the birdbath to resemble a whimisical toadstool, red with white polka dots.  Her husband cut a log to serve as the base of the toadstool table.  The birdbath turned upside down created the top.  Is that adorable, or what?
